Each API has a value in credits. Each plan gives you a number of credits for the year, or month (depending on the subscription selected). We will let you know you when you are at 80% of the usage so you can choose to either upgrade or stop using the APIs.
You are in control of whether you wish to upgrade to the next plan and we'll let you know if you're getting close to using your purchased credits.
In addition, as you are in control of the calls to our API you can also put in place your own measures and controls for the access to ensure you remain within your limits.
You'll need to look at the likely number of users and number of times each API is likely to be called to find the most suitable package.
You can increase your plan at any point. Decreasing the plan is also possible at the next billing anniversary.
Yes, by re-subscribing to your existing plan or subscribing to the next plan at any time.
The credits are available for your agreed billing period and will not roll over to the next.
Available credits are tied to the billed time period. Once it is the end of the year or month, your credit allowance will reset.
We use complete years or months, depending on the subscription selected, starting from the day that the payment is received.
Your account usage will be suspended until the next billing period.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund of any unused credits. However, you can cancel your plan at any point up to 1 month before your next billing date.
Yes, at the start of your plan and each billing year. A further invoice will be sent if additional Credits are purchased during a billing year.
This is only available for the Enterprise plan. Contact us and we will be able to discuss your requirements.
We provide results which are current on the same day that an API is run due to changes in various parameters such as the forecast assumptions. Therefore, we recommend that any caching for identical calls is refreshed daily to ensure that the results remain accurate.
For the pay per click option we make every current API module available to you for your use. Therefore, you will have access to the complete range of calculations, but only pay for those that are being used by your customers.
The list of current modules is on the home page of this website and on the API store at https://api-store.evalueproduction.com/store/.
The current pricing including credits used per API usage is outlined above and effective as set out in the current Terms and Conditions. We may change the price for new credits and/or the credits used for specific APIs from time to time by publishing such changes on this website.
Yes, you can buy credits for use on the pay per click basis for some APIs, and in addition use an enterprise licence for other specific APIs. This provides you with control over high use APIs while still having access to the wide range of functionality that is available through the pay per click plans.

In addition, access to the EV service desk for basic fault reporting is included in any paid subscription. We host in the UK in two military grade ultra-secure hosting sites. The hosting is High Availability, which means that every single component within it has at least one redundant part, and in many cases, multiple redundancies. We have achieved 100% availability for the last 3 years, and 99.96% up-time over the last 10 years.
The cost of the hosting is included in the API plans.
For the pay-per-click option, all APIs currently use the UK standard GBP currency view of EV's Insight Asset model. EUR, USD and JPY views are currently available via the Enterprise licence. We would be happy to discuss extensions to the ranges of currencies and assets or any other requirements you might have.
We cannot support this for the pay as you go option, but it is possible under the enterprise licence. We would be happy to discuss your requirements.
We support up to 20 calls per second for our standard APIs. If you need more usage the Enterprise licence can support this at additional cost.
Yes, we provide a usage limited version of the APIs that developers can view and use before the contract is signed. Note that trial versions are not suitable for live use as the figures provided are based on sample test information and out of date parameters.
We provide documentation on the background to the calculations for each of API on the portal.
Yes, but only with the express permission of EV or under an Enterprise licence. Contact us to discuss your plans.
Yes. However, please note that if the live Production or Sandbox keys are used, all API calls would be counted against the available credits in your plan. To avoid using up your credits during early stages of development and testing, you could instead use a usage-limited trial version rather than the live keys.
